Required courses may be substituted with the approval
of the Advisor in the French Department.
Students may obtain equivalent credits for one or more of the required courses by participating in the University's education abroad programs in Paris, Montpellier, Strasbourg, Brussels, Besançon, Québec, and Sénégal.
Note: Common courses for all major options are FR201, FR202, FR331, FR332, FR351, FR352, and one French linguistics course. If you are uncertain which option to choose, begin with the core courses and then make your decision when you see where your interests really lie.
